JULIA CORE

PsyD, LP

Meet JULIA

Julia approaches therapy with openness, authenticity, and transparency. She hopes to create a safe space for processing, healing, and genuine connection. She believes your therapist works for you and that treatment should be collaborative. She loves helping clients discover their truest selves. She takes her work very seriously, but does not take herself too seriously and believes in finding humor in the journey to healing.
Julia takes a holistic mind-body approach to her work and grounds herself in trauma-informed therapy. She has 5 years of experience practicing EMDR therapy and helping clients release the burden of trauma. Julia is also trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples and loves helping couples discover and begin to change negative patterns.

She understands that mental health issues can feel like a dark tunnel and believes her job is to walk beside you and shine a light on a the path forward. She hopes that at the end of therapy, long-standing wounds will feel like healed scars. She brings her passion for justice and her experience as a member of the LGBTQ+ community to her work with diverse clientele and LGBTQ+ folks. When not working, Julia loves hiking with her two dogs, camping with her partner, and any other opportunity to get outdoors.
