MEET Lori
Lori Laub is an LPC with almost thirty years experience in treating adults in a mental health setting. She is a warm and empathic person who creates a safe environment for her clients to explore their feelings and issues and make the kinds of changes they want to make to improve their lives.
Lori has a passion for working with people who, for whatever reason, find themselves in the midst of change. She helps them find their own inner strengths and resources to take those steps and live their best lives. She works with adults ages 18-60, but especially enjoys working with young adults, ages 18-35, helping them navigate the world, develop life skills, grow in confidence, spread their wings and fly!
EDUCATION
Master of Science in Counseling and Student Personnel with an emphasis in Community Counseling,
Oklahoma State University.
TRAINING
CBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), ACT, Mindfulness practices, Polyvagal techniques, Client-centered therapy, Solution-focused therapy.
SPECIALTY AREAS
Lori is a member of Citizen Potwatomi Nation and especially enjoys working with the Native American population. She often works with people who experience anxiety and stress; mood issues; relationship concerns including communication and boundaries; career and workplace issues; women’s issues; caregiver stress; chronic pain; cancer; borderline personality disorder; and LGBTQ-related issues. Her pronouns are she/her.
