Christine Wayman
Licensed Professional Counselor
MEET Christine
Christine holds a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, along with her credentials as a Licensed Behavioral Practitioner. Her professional journey includes significant experience in a children’s inpatient and residential program. She then had the privilege of contributing to the supervision of an empirically research-based ADHD summer clinic in Kansas City. Once moving to Oklahoma, Christine found a passion in providing school-based therapy. As time went on, she eventually served as a clinical director for an outpatient program that provided home and school based services. As a Certified EMDR therapist and an EMDRIA Consultant in Training, she is dedicated to fostering positive outcomes for children and families and learning the newest advances EMDR has to offer.
Christine is passionate about working with children aged 5 to 18, as well as young adults, to help them achieve their fullest potential. Her goal is to assist children and young adults in finding peace and resolution amidst life’s challenges and negative experiences. Christine emphasizes the importance of understanding our parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems, as this knowledge plays a crucial role in our daily lives. Witnessing a child’s growth and development brings her immense joy, and she strives to create a cohesive environment for families to thrive together.
Outside of her therapeutic work, Christine enjoys running, baking, and spending time with her husband, 2 kids, and 2 dogs.
