Meet Amy
Amy has an affection and talent for working with individuals who seek to implement positive changes in their lives. Using a conversational style, she is committed to offering patients alternative perspectives as they reflect on their life journeys and how their experiences have shaped their present lives. She considers it a privilege to have the opportunity to watch and participate as individuals grow with increased insight and self-awareness.
Amy has extensive experience treating individuals with addiction, loved ones who struggle with areas related to codependency, and those impacted by other difficulties specific to their mental and emotional states. This experience has resulted in an understanding and compassionate style in helping others.
Amy’s personal and professional experiences have been invaluable in treating addiction, codependency, anxiety, trauma, grief, loss, life dissatisfaction, struggles related to food, weight, body image, anger, coping skills, self-worth, and family conflict. She provides an environment of encouragement to individuals and seeks to offer insights and support as clients piece together their often challenging stories. The goal of therapy is to assist clients in learning to empower themselves as they implement positive changes in their lives.
