Ashley’s passion and specialty is in working with children, parents, and families. Ashley knows that play is communication and that through play change and healing occurs. Ashley enjoys working with the neurodivergent population; supporting clients in understanding the unique way their brain works, navigating needs, and emphasizing strengths.
Ashley believes that the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of the healing process and strives to make every client feel connected, comfortable, and able to express their true self. She is honored to walk alongside each client as they work through triumphs, difficult moments, and every part in between.
Her work is rooted in attachment theory and internal family systems. These support the nervous system and allow for the integration of all parts of the self. Ashley is trained to provide treatment using trauma-informed practices, Trust-Based Relational Intervention, Circle of Security, Internal Family Systems informed treatment, and DIR Floortime. Ashley is an adoption competent therapist and an adoption competency trainer. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys teaching dance, performing, and playing with her turtle, Franklin.
