Samantha Rangel-Branscum (she/her)

LCSW/Therapist
Accepting New Clients
Samantha is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals and families, including extensive work within tribal communities and most recently in hospice care. She is passionate about creating a therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely heard. Sam believes every person’s story deserves to be honored and strives to provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can find hope, healing, and new pathways forward. Sam works with adults navigating grief and loss, life and role transitions, chronic illness, caregiver stress, burnout, and other difficult seasons of life. Her experience in hospice has given her a particular heart for supporting individuals and families through grief, anticipatory grief, end-of-life concerns, and significant life changes. She also welcomes clients from LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, Native and Indigenous, and older adult communities. Sam’s approach is rooted in systems theory and culturally responsive, trauma-informed care. She draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and mindfulness. Sam recognizes that healing looks different for every person and honors the role that culture, traditional practices, spirituality, values, and personal beliefs may play in the healing process. Outside of the therapy room, Sam enjoys singing, listening to music, meditation, spending time in nature, and working in her native pollinator garden. She and her spouse enjoy spending time with their blended family and their very full house of kids and animals.
