Amber Howard Cornelius

Licensed Masters Social Worker/Therapist
Accepting New Clients
Amber works to create a warm, compassionate space where individuals can safely explore their experiences and emotions and move toward lives filled with deeper meaning, connection, and peace. Her clinical focus includes treating depression and anxiety, supporting clients through life transitions, and helping individuals with complex trauma heal relational wounds. Amber especially enjoys working with adults across the life span who are navigating relationship struggles, attachment wounds, grief and loss, and the challenges of building healthier, more authentic connections. Amber’s style is collaborative and grounded in compassion, blending trauma-informed care with Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, emotion regulation skills, and family systems theory. As both a parent and an attorney who has transitioned into the field of therapy, Amber understands the challenges of balancing caregiving, career, and personal growth. She brings this perspective into her work, supporting clients in creating lives that feel more meaningful and aligned with what matters most. Outside the therapy room, Amber enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, exploring new foods and recipes, and sharing time with family and friends.
