Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)
Resolve Behavioral Health Services offers Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for adults seeking a different approach when traditional therapy or medication has not created the change they are hoping for. KAP combines psychotherapy with the unique therapeutic window ketamine may create, allowing clients to explore emotions, memories, patterns, and perspectives in new ways. Our KAP therapists have completed more than 100 hours of advanced and experiential training in psychedelic-assisted therapy, and our approach is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-informed care.
What Is Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy?
KAP at Resolve is a structured process that may include assessment, preparation, therapeutic support during ketamine sessions, and integration therapy. Resolve provides the psychotherapy component of treatment, while ketamine is prescribed and medically managed by an independent licensed medical provider or ketamine clinic. Clients may also work with us for preparation and integration while receiving Spravato®, IV ketamine, or other ketamine treatment through an outside provider. Our goal is to help clients approach the experience safely and intentionally and translate insights from treatment into meaningful, lasting changes in everyday life.
