Accepting New Clients
Alyssa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping people feel seen, empowered, and more at home in themselves. She works with children, teens, and adults from diverse backgrounds and has a special interest in supporting individuals who have felt like “outsiders,” including LGBTQIA+ clients and those navigating identity, belonging, and relational challenges.
Alyssa brings a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to therapy, believing that healing happens when people feel safe enough to explore their stories and strong enough to create new ones. She has experience working with anxiety, ADHD, trauma and PTSD, depression, relationship concerns, adoption and divorce transitions, and social or peer challenges.
In addition to traditional evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Written Exposure Therapy (WET), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Alyssa integrates creative expression and somatic awareness into her work. As someone active in theater, she understands the powerful role that movement, storytelling, and embodied experience can play in emotional healing and self-discovery.
Alyssa is committed to creating an affirming, collaborative space where clients can build insight, develop practical skills, and reconnect with their strengths as they move toward meaningful and authentic lives.
