Jason Featherngill (He/Him)
LMSW-P
Accepting New Clients
Jason believes that seeking support is an act of courage, and that meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and accepted. His approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and the belief that each person has the capacity to grow, heal, and move toward a more hopeful and fulfilling life.
Jason has advanced training in the treatment of trauma and is EMDR-trained. These experiences have strengthened his understanding of trauma-informed care and the importance of creating a therapeutic space where people feel safe, respected, and empowered.
His experience teaching college-level courses has given him the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and experiences. He especially enjoys supporting students and young adults as they navigate stress, academic challenges, life transitions, relationships, and personal growth.
Jason strives to meet each person where they are and to understand their experiences within the context of their strengths, relationships, environment, and goals. His hope is to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, exploring what they are experiencing without judgment, and discovering meaningful steps toward the life they want to create. Therapy is a collaborative journey, and Jason is honored to walk alongside his clients.
Outside of work, music is a meaningful part of Jason’s life. He loves collecting records, discovering new music, and going to concerts. Music is one of the ways he connects with others, recharges, and finds joy.
