MEET Maddie

Maddie is an LPC-Candidate and has worked in various areas, including college campuses, private practice, and a domestic violence shelter. She utilizes a person-centered approach and enjoys incorporating various therapeutic theories to fit your needs best! She utilizes an integrative approach to assist in holistic treatment (thoughts, emotions, and body). She believes that therapy is both a professional relationship and a personal one, so making sure you find the right therapist is a priority for her. Maddie focuses on assisting clients to find self-acceptance and empowerment to better reach their goals and create the life they want. Her space is one of laughter, tears, yelling, and the occasional curse word. Maddie takes a strong trauma-focused approach to assist clients in their healing journey. She also focuses on relationships as a way to facilitate growth and find community. She is very passionate about issues surrounding women’s rights and the 2SLGBTQ+ community. She uses humor, non-judgment, and empathy as a way to assist clients. Maddie likes to spend her free time reading (probably too much), hanging out with her friends and family, cuddling with her two kitties, hiking, and doing yoga. In addition to the copious amounts of true crime podcasts and horror movies she watches (in case you’re curious, she does scare easily).
